1) On-campus warranty service for all desktops and notebooks that we sell.

UNH's Computer Service Center (CSC) is an authorized warranty service center for Dell and Apple computers. Buy it here at UNH and have it serviced here.

2) Knowledgeable, individualized pre-sales advice, not tied to a profit motive.

UNH Computer Store is a cost recovery unit in the Computing & Information Services department.

Our sales consultants work on a non-commission basis. We give you the best advice possible by taking into consideration both the campus computing environment and home computing needs. We have served the UNH community for 20 years.

3) Academic discounts range from competitive to incredible!

We only sell to the University community and pass on all available academic discounts. Our prices are competitive, and in many cases they are the absolute lowest prices anywhere. For example, many software packages are less than half the price of commercial versions.

4) Network configuration for connection to the UNH computer network (ResNet), and installation of UNH-supported software.

UNH's Pre-Delivery Network Configuration (or PDNC) is coordinated through us. The CSC Software Lab prepares the system for operation on the UNH network and installs supported software that you buy with your computer. This PDNC service also catches possible hardware defects which might slip through the manufacturer's testing or might occur during shipping. The fee for this service will be $ 23.00 for new computers purchased through the UNH Computer Store, less than half the normal charge.

Our standard computer bundles offer excellent pricing based on anticipated volumes. We will quote Dell systems for any configuration, any model. And we will gladly quote volume buys.

Your purchase through the UNH Computer Store keeps us on campus to provide after-sale support, to offer higher education discounts on future purchases, and for your convenience when running to the mall is not an option!

7) Free Shipping!

Systems purchased online may have shipping charges of $50 to $75 dollars, or more.There is never a charge to have your products shipped to our location on campus.

8) Loaner Program

For the first time the Computer Service Center is introducing a Loaner Program for individuals while a system is in for repair, based on the nature of the repair, availablility of replacement parts, and the availability of loaner systems.
